First phase of African clinical trials platform launched, and more news
The Kenya-based African Academy of Sciences launched a first version of its Clinical Trials Community online platform on 10 June. The platform aims to increase the global visibility of African clinical trial sites and investigators. For now, it will also promote intra-African collaboration around Covid-19 trials, with the aim of reducing duplication and accelerating the discovery of treatments for the disease.
