Funder said it aims to minimise disruption to flagship African training programme
The Wellcome Trust has promised to fund the second phase of its Deltas programme, which supports the training of scientists in Africa, as researchers face delays in their applications.
Wellcome, a United Kingdom-based biomedical charity, is transitioning the programme to an interim grant management body after pulling its support for a grant-management platform managed by the African Academy of Sciences.
