WHO report says Covid pandemic may have stalled progress
Africa’s ability to perform medical research fell in several key performance indicators between 2018 and 2022, according to a report by the World Health Organization.
The report, which assessed health research capacity across 39 states in the WHO Africa region, attributes some of the slowdown to the Covid-19 pandemic.
