Report says academic research output tripled from 2019-20

Uganda’s research performance shot up during the Covid-19 pandemic as government and international funders poured money into pandemic-related R&D.

Research papers produced by Ugandan universities tripled in 2020, according to the country’s 2022 National Research Outlook Report.
