Action urged on pan-African satellite constellation

Continental satellite swarm would boost data access, South African space agency chief tells conference

African countries should get cracking on a pan-African satellite constellation that would grant them access to satellite data and to ensure data coverage for the entire continent.

This was the message delivered by Humbulani Mudau, chief executive officer of the South African National Space Agency, when he addressed the NewSpace Africa Conference in Angola last week.
