World Bank and Sweden launch sustainable development fund

The World Bank and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency have announced a fund that will focus on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

The Partnership Fund for the SDGs was launched in the United States on 18 October. A US$7 million contribution from Sida helped set up the fund. The pair said more donors will follow.
