Makerere-based centre will train 40 fellows a year starting in 2021
Makerere University in Uganda has launched a postgraduate programme in peacebuilding in collaboration with service organisation Rotary International.
Makerere’s Rotary Peace Centre was launched on 9 January. It is the first Rotary Peace Centre on the African continent. There are six others, in Australia, Japan, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and two in the United States.
