Former education minister Silas Lwakabamba chosen to lead Coventry University’s Africa Hub
Coventry University in the United Kingdom has appointed a former Rwandan education minister, Silas Lwakabamba, as the first regional managing director of its new Africa Hub in Rwanda’s capital, Kigali.
Last week the university announced it would create the hub in Kigali Heights, near the Kigali Convention Centre. The hub’s launch was meant to coincide with the 2021 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Kigali this month, but the summit was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
