EDCTP grants €3m for child healthcare project in Africa

Project will develop guidelines for newborn and child health in Nigeria, Malawi, and South Africa

The European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership has allocated €3 million (US$3.2m) for a research project to support newborn and child health in Africa.

The Global Evidence, Local Adaptation (GELA) project aims to support South-South and South-North collaboration to help policymakers, researchers and civil society work together to develop evidence-based recommendations for newborn and child health priorities in Nigeria, Malawi, and South Africa.
