African researchers participate in parenting study

               

Varsities in South Africa, Tanzania and Uganda will share funding from toy giant Lego

The universities of Stellenbosch and Cape Town in South Africa are among an international group of institutions that will share an £11 million, five-year grant from the Lego Foundation to study parenting support.

The grant will be overseen by the Global Parenting Initiative and will include collaborations with the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom and other partner universities in Tanzania, Uganda, Canada, Malaysia, The Philippines and Thailand.
