Desire to partner with top universities undermines south-south collaboration, conference hears

The desire to “marry up” through partnerships is entrenching inequality in academic collaborations, a meeting heard this week.

The two-day meeting, hosted by the University of Cape Town in South Africa, welcomed representatives from universities around the world to discuss the future of higher education.
