Eight three-year bursaries have been allocated to doctoral candidates from Uganda and Ghana to study at Stellenbosch University (SU) in 2012.
The grants are awarded under the African Doctoral Academy that was officially launched at SU in January 2011. Funding was enabled with a US$1 million grant from the Carnegie Corporation.
