An African researcher at Stellenbosch University was honoured on 1 January for running the largest repository for scholarly research in South Africa.
Ina Smith, an electronic research repository manager at Stellenbosch, was named as one of three runners-up in a new annual award from the Electronic Publishing Trust for Development (EPT) in the UK.
