Bursaries for SA space scientists

The South African National Space Agency is offering postgraduate scholarships for budding space scientists in 2014.

At this stage only South African citizens aiming to study at a South African institution will be considered. Bursaries can be obtained for a degree in SANSA-related fields including engineering, mathematics, physics, space science and remote sensing.

Honours scholars will receive funding of R45,000 (US$4,600), masters’ students R88,000 and PhDs R110,000. Applicants should indicate a project theme and supervisor when applying.
