The Botswana government plans to set up an innovation fund early next year to fund research, technology and innovation-based entrepreneurship.
Budzanani Tacheba, director of cluster development at the Botswana Innovation Hub (BIH), says the minister of infrastructure, science and technology is reviewing the fund’s structural framework for approval.
Tacheba was speaking at the Southern African Research and Innovation Managers Association meeting held on 7-10 October in Cape Town, South Africa.
