The University of Namibia will host the first African discovery camp on the sustainable use and management of marine ecosystems.
The course is geared towards giving research-based training and experience to early-career researchers, PhD and masters students, as well as active scientists in the oceanic sciences.
It will take place from 4 to 26 March at the Sam Nujoma Marine and Coastal Resources Research Centre in Henties Bay, Namibia. The first week will involve practical work on board the RV Mirabilis, while the subsequent two weeks will take place at the SANUMARC headquarters.
