South African postdoctoral science fellowships open

The Claude Leon Foundation, a South African charity trust, is calling for applications for its postdoctoral fellowships in science, engineering and medical sciences. The programme is open to candidates from all nations, but the positions need to be held at South African universities.

Applicants who have received their doctoral degrees in the last five years and who belong to groups that are under-represented in science, engineering and medical sciences are preferred.

The fellowships funds two study years, and commence in January 2014. The deadline for applications is 31 May. Around 45 fellowships are available this year, which is the 14th round of the programme.
