Namibian government agencies to co-fund postgraduates

Two Namibian government agencies have agreed to co-fund postgraduate students and research in the country.

The National Commission on Research, Science and Technology and the Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund signed the agreement on 28 January.

The NSFAF is a government-sanctioned loan scheme for financially needy students. Previously it provided assistance only to postgraduate students through collaborative funding deals with foreign donors.
