SA academy calls for coordination of agricultural research

South Africa’s research funding agencies need to coordinate their agricultural research and training efforts better, the country’s science academy has said.

In a report published on 27 September, an 11-member panel appointed by the Academy of Science of South Africa suggest a “science research innovation link” be established between the country’s Agricultural Research Council and its National Research Foundation.
