UK-based Eloise Marais will create dataset of chemical processes in the upper troposphere
South African Earth observation scientist Eloise Marais has been awarded a European Research Council Starting Grant to create a dataset of the atmosphere’s chemistry, to improve climate predictions. The grant, aimed at early-career researchers, offers funding of up to €1.5 million (US$1.6m).
