Weary science committee ends year by sending contentious bill to Assembly
Long-awaited changes to South Africa’s science and technology laws will be passed in 2020.
The parliamentary portfolio committee on higher education, science and technology approved the bill containing amendments on 4 December, the last day before Parliament started its summer break.
