SA signs fourth industrial revolution centre agreement

South Africa and the World Economic Forum have signed an agreement for the country to host a fourth industrial revolution centre affiliated to the WEF Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The signing of the hosting agreement was announced by Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane, the minister of science and technology, on 16 April in Pretoria.

“This signing is the culmination of extensive negotiations that started a year ago, and marks a very important milestone in our partnership,” said Kubayi-Ngubane.
