Corruption one of higher education’s ‘most serious challenges’, South African minister says

South Africa’s minister of higher education, science and technology has warned that corruption and ‘university capture’ is threatening the sector. Speaking on 23 January at a news conference in Pretoria, Blade Nzimande labelled corruption “one of the most serious challenges we face".
