UN-backed centre in Pretoria aims to boost social development
South Africa has launched a United Nations-backed centre to speed up innovations targeting social development.
The South African UN Development Programme Accelerator Lab was launched on 28 January at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research Convention Centre in Pretoria. It is one of 60 similar labs worldwide.
