Left-over funding hampers Parliament’s ability to ask for budget increases for research

MPs on Parliament’s science committee have rapped the Department of Science and Innovation on the fingers for not spending all its 2020/21 budget.

The comments came when officials from DSI and its subsidiary entities presented their annual reports to Parliament’s portfolio committee on higher education, science, and technology on 12 November.
