Meeting follows clashes between MPs and university management

South African MPs are to hold a colloquium on the institutional autonomy of universities.

Philly Mapulane, the chair of the portfolio committee on higher education, science and technology, announced the decision on 13 May during a debate on the budget of the Department of Higher Education and Training.
