Joburg vice-chancellor to help steer Durban health hub

Tshilidzi Marwala will head board of directors of Africa Health Research Institute

The vice-chancellor of the University of Johannesburg, has been chosen to chair the board of directors of the Durban-based Africa Health Research Institute.

The AHRI announced Tshilidzi Marwala’s appointment on 1 February. He is an engineer by training, specialising in artificial intelligence.
