Deputy head lauded for his “immensely valuable contribution”
Gansen Pillay retired as the National Research Foundation’s deputy chief executive officer of research and innovation support and advancement (RISA) on 31 January.
“We thank Gansen for his immensely valuable contribution to the NRF, and the tremendous difference he has made in the science system over these past 12 years,” said the foundation’s chief executive, Fulufhelo Nelwamondo, in a statement.
