Tributes to former Council on Higher Education chief Narend Baijnath
South Africa’s minister of science and innovation, Blade Nzimande, has expressed condolences on the death of Narend Baijnath (pictured), the former head of the country’s Council on Higher Education (CHE).
Baijnath was also a former vice principal of strategic planning and partnerships, and later of research and planning, at the University of South Africa.
