Sansa looks to service fees and industry partnerships to fill funding gaps

The South African National Space Agency will have its government grant cut by 22 per cent this financial year, and is drawing up plans to source funding elsewhere.

Sansa interim head Andiswa Mlisa confirmed the cut while presenting the agency’s revised performance plan to the parliamentary portfolio committee on science, innovation and higher education on 6 May.
