Seven-year award will bankroll Africa Health Research Institute’s new strategy and expanded areas of focus
The Africa Health Research Institute in Durban, South Africa, has welcomed a seven-year award that it says will help roll out a newly approved strategy.
The US$90.9 million award from the Wellcome Trust, which is the institute’s core funder, will allow it to continue its work on southern Africa’s HIV/Aids and tuberculosis epidemics.
