The Nigerian Technical Cooperation Fund has awarded US$100,000 to a pan-African initiative to train science and mathematics teachers.
The award, which was announced at a ceremony in Nairobi on 12 January, will go to the African Virtual University, which aims to increase access to quality training through innovative use of information and communication technologies.
