The National Universities Commission in Nigeria has published a 14-step guide showing how individuals can apply to establish a private university in the country.
The process was announced by the executive secretary, Julius Okojie, on 27 May at the NUC headquarters in Abuja.
Those wishing to apply should go straight to the NUC headquarters in Abuja, he said. However, at the time of publication, no further information had been posted to NUC’s website.
