The Nigerian Research and Education Network and the West and Central African Research and Education Network have signed a partnership agreement on the second phase of the AfricaConnect Project.
AfricaConnect2 is a European Union-supported project created to build a regional gateway for joint research and education through high-capacity internet networks.
The agreement was signed on 22 May in Abuja by Joshua Atah, the NgREN project coordinator, and Boubakar Barry, chief executive of WACREN.
