Oye-Ekiti hosts security research grant writing training

Nigeria’s Federal University Oye-Ekiti kicked off a two-day research grant writing workshop with 30 West African academics on 28 June.

The conference is the first of a series of events under a partnership between FUOYE and the Social Science Research Council in New York, United States.

Shola Omotola, a professor of political science at FUOYE, said the workshop would focus on how to write winning proposals for research into peace and security threats in Africa.
