The governments of Nigeria and Iran are discussing ways to help each other wean their economies off oil dependence through technology and agriculture.
The discussions were held between Ogbonnaya Onu, the Nigerian science minister, and Morteza Zarchi, the Iranian ambassador to Nigeria, on 13 July.
Zarchi said Iranian investors are ready to partner with Nigeria in science and technology.
