Nigerian battery pioneer wins $100,000 science prize

Peter Ngene, a Nigerian material scientist,has won the US$100,000 Nigeria Science Prize sponsored by the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas company.

Ngene receives the award for developing an ‘all solid state sulphur battery’ Nigerian journalists were told on 9 October.
