Ghana oil company funds university upgrades

The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation has said it will fund four universities in the country to the tune of US$1 million a year over four years.

The beneficiaries—each of which will receive a quarter million annually—are the University of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, the University of Mines and Technology and the University of Cape Coast.
