Hunt announces conservation science summit

Federal environment minister Greg Hunt has announced plans to hold a national threatened species conservation summit in Melbourne.

It will be held at Melbourne Zoo on 16 July and will be chaired by federal Threatened Species Commissioner Gregory Andrews.

Announcing the summit on 23 April, Hunt said it would set “hard and measurable targets” to guide a national threatened species conservation strategy.
