Federal education minister Christopher Pyne has launched a $2.4 million viticulture training and research project in South Australia.
At the opening of the Australian Research Council Training Centre for Innovative Wine Production at the University of Adelaide on 20 May, Pyne said it would “embark on an extensive research programme that spans the entire product chain”.
“This centre exemplifies the vital research activity that this government is funding, and the importance of increasing the links between industry and research institutions,” Pyne said.
