Global project examines fate of Syrian refugees

Sydney academics will contribute to an international study that aims to assess the impact and effectiveness of government resettlement policies for Syrian refugees.

The three-year study will compare the social, education and employment experiences of refugee families in Australia, Canada, Finland, Germany, New Zealand, Sweden and the UK.

In Australia, researchers will interview 250 families from Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and regional cities in New South Wales.
