Deakin guides aim to improve student experience

A series of free guides for international postgraduate research students to explain the process of “intercultural” research supervision has been published by Deakin University in regional Victoria.

The project was funded by the International Education Association of Australia. It was led by Deakin education researcher Ly Tran, in collaboration with Wendy Green from the University of Tasmania and Lily Nguyen from the University of Melbourne.

Announcing details, Tran said Australia’s international student enrolments are predicted to reach one million by 2025.
