Indigenous scholarships for ‘stolen wages’ research

Griffith University in Brisbane is offering two PhD scholarships worth $100,000 each for Indigenous researchers to help shape future state government policies.

The scholarships are jointly funded by Griffith and the Queensland government.

They are open to Indigenous students who want to research the history of Queensland government laws that allowed government officials to control the wages and savings of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.
