Queensland researcher Mitchell Scovell is seeking participants for an online survey about factors that influence people to prepare their homes and properties for tropical cyclones.
Scovell is a PhD student at James Cook University at Townsville and the survey will contribute to his thesis on cyclone mitigation behaviour.
In a social media post outlining the survey, Scovell says his research is aimed at “understanding more about the factors that influence specific behaviours aimed at reducing cyclone related property damage”.
