Name change signals new directions for RIRDC

One of Australia’s biggest rural research agencies, the Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation, has changed its name and signalled an overhaul of its funding priorities.

The federal grants agency, now called AgriFutures Australia, has also launched a new website.

Announcing details, AFA chair Kay Hull said the move was “more than just a name change” and represented a renewed purpose and direction.
