Six researchers at Flinders University in South Australia have received grants to work on research projects in France that will include defence technology, health education and maritime history.
The South Australia-Brittany Research Collaboration Grants were developed following the visit of French president Emmanuel Macron to Australia in May 2018. They are managed by the Office of the French Strategy in the SA government’s Department of the Premier and Cabinet.
Announcing the grants, Flinders’ deputy vice-chancellor Robert Saint said they would “help pull the global spotlight onto core areas of our research excellence”.
