Flinders University in South Australia is to work with the state government and the Adelaide Crows, an Australian Rules football team, to develop and promote a mental health research strategy.
The university and the SA Mental Health Commission have formed the Breakthrough Mental Health Research Foundation to encourage greater support for mental illness research initiatives.
The Adelaide Crows will support the foundation and will promote its aims at an Australian Football League game at Adelaide Oval on 5 May.
