The University of Adelaide is to host a three-day national conference on wombat research and conservation.
The event, Wombats Through Time and Space, will feature speakers from universities, national parks, wildlife care and conservation organisations. It also promises a “lunch with wombats” where the much-loved marsupials “will be free to wander around attendees”.
The conference has been organised by PhD candidate Michael Swinbourne from the university’s school of biological sciences.
