Nathan Hollier, a literary studies academic and founder of a national network for Australia’s small publishers, has been appointed to head Melbourne University Publishing.
Hollier will take up the role of chief executive of MUP, the country’s oldest university publisher, on 1 July.
He has been director of publishing at Monash University in Melbourne for the past nine years. He joined the university to manage its electronic publishing business and relaunched it as Monash Publishing in 2010.
