Macquarie signs research deal with India’s biggest IT company

Agreement will help postgrads gain ‘real-world experience’ through internships and scholarships

Macquarie University in Sydney has announced a research deal with Tata Consultancy Services, India’s largest multinational business IT systems and software engineering group.

The agreement with the Mumbai-based company will include internships and research scholarships for postgraduate students to gain “real-world experience” in the global financial services industry. TCS is one of the world’s largest IT services companies, with an estimated worth of more than $30 billion.
